Full-time/seasonal job is an hourly position paying ($17-$22/hr) depending on experience. We offer health reimbursement, competitive pay rate, and tuition/continued education opportunities. Tentative season runs from April 1st- December 15th with paid unemployment during off-season.
- Assist in the coordination of landscaping projects.
- Work closely with Project Manager/Owner to implement landscape designs.
-Participate in meetings with new and existing clients to discuss landscape design/build and enhancement projects.
-Install various hardscapes materials, retaining walls and irrigation systems.
-Associates Degree in horticulture or related field preferred but not a must.
-1-2 Years Previous experience with a landscape firm preferred.
-Must have initiative and delegate work effectually to stay on project time-line.
-Demonstrate knowledge of landscape terminology, plant materials, applicable construction materials, and installation techniques.
-Ability to use machinery such as Track Skid Loader and Mini Excavator.
-Ability to work in a team environment, including taking direction and constructive feedback from team members, as well as providing feedback to other team members.
-Good driving record, Chauffeurs License and Medical examiners card upon hiring.
Position would start the spring of 2019. The typical work day is 8:00 am-6:30 p.m. Monday-Friday. (Occasional Saturday during peak season if weather is a factor)
Our internship program is typically offered during the summer months (May to August) and is intended for High School Juniors and Seniors with related interests; and College Students pursuing related degrees with the intent of leading toward a future, full-time employment opportunity. Highlights of our Internship Program are: Broad learning experience from design, building, training and customer relations. Paid and Unpaid Internships available.
